Mouth Guards

Mouth Guards protect your teeth.  A mouth guard is a protective device for the mouth that covers the teeth and gums to prevent and reduce injury to the teeth, arches, lips and gums.  A mouth guard is most often used to prevent injury in contact sports, as a treatment for Bruxism (grinding), or as part of certain dental procedures.  Grinding can injure teeth, as it can cause fractures and  local pain in the mouth or jaw, and may contribute to Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ).  Having a mouth guard helps prevent major issues such as fractures and root canals, among others.

If you suspect that you are grinding or have unexpected fillings or teeth fractures, come and talk to us for an evaluation. We help patients find their perfect fit.
